After my father’s death I was living with my mother in Lucerne.
I was going to school there and I was spending my spare time going in the near horse racing stud owned by Mr Rindlisbacher.
I love horses so much and it was very important for me to go there, cleaning, feeding and give water to
these fantastic animals. At the beginning could not ride but Mr Rindlisbacher slowly paid attention
to me and one day he put me on a horse.

I was the first woman to be a horse jokey and in 1962, I made my dream all over Europe to do racings like Ostende, Munich, San Siro. In Switzerland men and women running separately, in Europe all together. It was so for 11 years than I stopped when my lovely Lorenzaccio dead in an accident during a race, can never forget my back travelling on the train van alone with Lorenzaccio’s best friend Seppli (goat’s kid).
My first poodle came into my life in 1961 it was Cilla Vom Elfenbick a brown dwarf coming from black line, she was an excellent working dog that was always with me at the horse rides She was run over by a train at the age of 9 but luckily she was so smal and nothing happened to her. She lived until 18 years old. I was starting to learn how to clip properly, in 1968 I was married and myhusband Georg took in the house the silver dwarf Anuscka Silvermascott, we also had in the same year our first Borzoi called Orlow Kafkas. My love for this breed started from my childhood when I was always in the horse world, everyone involved with horses were rich people that have these elegant, tall and very clever dogs.

That’s why my house name is KACIAN coming from our first dogs : Kafkas, Cilla and Anuschka. In 1966 I founded my kennel under the Superstar’s name, and in 1967 I had my first silver litter and in 1968 I passed the very difficult exam to become a judge at the Zurich university under Mr Erich Hurzeler president of the judging committee of the Swiss Kennel Club and under the Professor Seiferle. At the age of 26 I was the youngest woman to become a judge. Due to my show visits in England I knew Mrs Bentley a very famous breeder from which I bought the brown Chanticleer Courvoisier, she become World Winner in Dortmund in 1972, I was for the first time Best In Show in Bern in 1977 with her son Multi Ch. Superstar’s Solitaire under judges Mr Tibor Brody, Mr Jan Nesvabda , Mrs Janot. Solitaire was also World Winner in Mexico City in 1978.
Later I knew Mrs Fassnidge in Windsor, I collaborated a lot with her in breeding, I have to thank her for Henry Sidbourne Superstars that became International Champion and World Winner in 1979 together with Swiss Chocolate Lady. Another very successful son of Chanticleer was

Up to now I have bred and owned 23 World champions and 63 International champions.At the world show of Dortmund in 1981 “Superstar’s Sir Charly Brown” was best of breed and best dwarf under Mrs Tina Violi (I)

Successful browns from Roger Stone of the Vanitonia fame played an important role in the development of my breeding from 1973 to 1977, bringing me the unforgettable Multi Ch. Superstar’s Salome’ World cham pion in Madrid 1983 together with Multi Ch. Supertar’s Savoir Vivre also World Champion in Madrid in the modern clip under the famous Marita Gibbs. A very famous son of Salome’ wasSuperstar’s Sir Sorbas World winner in Tel Aviv in 1987.

His sister the Multi Ch Superstar’s Stella Blu covered in Finland was the mother of the very successful Multi Ch. Superstar’s Swiss Caramel owned by Mr Jouko Leiviska of the Toyway fame. Stella Blu was also the mother of the Multi Ch. Superstar’s Black Smokey that was World winner best of breed in Bern 1994 and Best In Show at the International show of Niort in France in 1995.
A very successful black was the Multi Ch. Superstar’s Black Funny Girl that was World winner best best poodle all sizes and nr. 2 in the group in Brno in 1989. Funny was also the mother of the Multi Ch. World Winner in Bern 1994 top toy in Italy for 3 years Superstar’s Black Kiss Me, owned by Mr Bruno Nodalli that was also the mother of the European Champion BOS in Poznan 2000 Multi Ch.Osmanthus La Perla, European junior Winner Multi Ch. Osmanthus Krazy Krizia, European Champion in Tulln Osmanthus Kenzo and also of the Multi Ch. Veteran Best In Show 3rdin Buenos Aires 2005 Osmanthus Kashaia. The top toy bitch and nr. 2 Top Toy in Norway was again a daughter of Kiss Multi Ch. Osmanthus First Lady.

The Multi Ch Superstar’s Black Poeme was Best In Show at the international shows of Toulouse(F) and St.Gallen (Ch), Mulhouse (F) and at the national show of Morbegno in Italy. My husband Georg was also the co-owner of the most winning dwarf in Europe of all time Multi Ch.Fidel Full Fart Mikke

Other very successful Superstar’s were the Multi Ch. Unexpected joy in Russia, Multi Ch. Superstar’s Choco Queen of Jutana Multi Ch. Superstar’s Totoscka and now the very successful brown Superstar’s Chivas always in Russia. At the moment I am practically all week end out to judge and I don’t have any more time to show, at home now I have the super black toy bitch Superstar’s X ’Black Last Dream that is a daughter of Smokey, she is such a beautiful and clever bitch, my husband is training her and she has done some exercise at the
world famous Circus Knie.
